The leanest medium you should use.Ready to use straight fron the container. Dries overnight depending on climate. The use of Medium No.1 is the safe way to achieve thin colour washes without destroying the binder of the paint. Also useful to clean and lessen the absorbency of pre-primed canvas panels and stretched canvasses.

Medium fat. Formulated with more Stand Oil than No.1 and is used as the next, fattest, medium in the sequence of painting ...fat over lean.

Thickest and oiliest, slowest drying medium.

A very low odour alternative to Medium No.1, with similar properties Made with Odourless Solvent in place of Turpentine.

Thicker, oilier and slower drying. To be mixed with oil paint and applied as the final medium in the ...fat over lean sequence.

A quick drying transparent paintnig and glazing medium. Excellent for multiple glazes, where it will give great depth and subtlety of colour. Can be painted wet on wet, or left to dry before overpainting. Mix thoronughly with oil paint on the palette before applying.

Mixture of oil and wax. Mix with oil colour to achieve a translucent effect. Not suitable for heavy impasto. Imparts a satin finish.

Painting Gel is quick drying and becomes liquid when mixed into oil paints. Suitable for moderate impasto and glazing techniques. Dries with a soft sheen.

Pure Refined Linseed Oil is used in finest artist oil colours. Use with artists oils and mediums.

Heat thickened linseed oil. Use with artist oil colours to enhance the flow. Dries to a tough, gloss film. Also used in the preparation of oil painting mediums.
