At last, a true beginner's press! Extremely compact with 4mm thick steel uprights. The rollers are solid steel and move on bushes. The lower knurled roller is driven by a (removable) handle. The upper roller is fixed to two brass runners connected to the regulating screws, which allow plates/blocks with a thickness up to 20mm to pass through the rollers. Pressure is regulated by means of the regulating screws whose special system of "elastic" steel rings ensure the right amount of flexibility in the printing pressure. The galvanised steel bed is guided by lateral uprights and is included with the press. N.B. Blankets to be ordered separately.

The lower roller has a toothed drive section built into each end of its length and these engage with the toothed metal racks built into both sides of the steel bedplate. This construction ensures the travel of the bedplate when turning the large comfortable 4-spoke drive wheel. The press is made to a very high standard with low manufacturing tolerances guaranteeing reliable and accurate performance. High print pressure is not required for block printing.
