Moulded from a high-density plastic our stretcher wedges are guaranteed to keep your canvases taut. They don't split or fall out, can take a pounding, and can be recycled.
Wedges For Stretchers can use in wedges to tighten loose artist canvases, they are used to tighten both new and old canvases or paintings. New canvases need to be tightened, and old canvases can become loose over time. Wedges are an essential components for the maintenance of valuable new and old paintings on canvas/linen and they scream out quality when artists/client or even that important gallery you want to impress when they see the back of the canvas/painting.
The wedges are simple to use - Simply slide them into the slots made for them in the corners of the stretcher bars, then tap them in further to tighten or square up (align) the canvas. Best using a small hammer for this.
